Brian K. Randle, 75, died March 11, 2010, a Tampa General Hospital, Tampa. He was born in Rome, NY, and was a seasonal resident of Vero Beach for 14 years, coming from Rome. He was an Army veteran, serving in the Korean War. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Audrey J. Randle of Vero Beach; Sons, Jeff Randle of Trumansburg, NY, Kevin Randle of Middletown, DE., Brian Randle, Jr. of West Leyden, NY, Bruce Randle of Lee Center, NY, and Neal Randle of Rome; and four grandchildren.
According to Art Young, Mike's death was the result of a heart attack following some very serious surgery in Tampa General Hospital. Erf Porter writes: "Mike was one of the really great guys. A fine, all around athlete, and a personality that, while fun loving, was sincere and supportive.

James Laskie, 75 of Skaneateles passed away early December 24, 2009 after having dinner with his wife, Mary. James had a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Alfred University. His background in Science led him to a long-time career as manufacturer's representative selling carbon products. He was interested in politics, golf, economics, and the of a great conversationalist. He traveled extensively most of his career. In the months prior to his death his ailing health limited much of his travel and he worked our of his home office.
He left five children (Joy Marie Laskie Benosky, Elizabeth Ann Laskie Gonzalez, Gregory Roy Laskie, Kyle Arthur Lakie, and Martha Lynn Laskie), a wife (Mary Frances Arthur Laskie), a brother (Robert Laskie), one grandson (James Michael Gonzalez), and a niece (Kimberly Laskie).

Guys & Gals, Today I received a call from Chris Iorio .. advising that our brother Sam Iorio passed away this morning.
Sam left a memo with his wishes for services after his death. It seems that Sam, in consideration for any friends that may be in Florida for the winter, that in case of his passing in the winter months, a memorial service shall be planned for April.
Chris will keep some of us informed of any plans. Our first thoughts are that Sam and Jan are once again united.

SAMUEL E. IORIO IORIO SAMUEL E. IORIO, age 71. Beloved husband of the late Janet (nee Long); dear father of Christopher and Julie, brother of Josephine Fortu-nato and Beverly Hewitt, uncle and great uncle to many. A graduate of Alfred University, he retired as a regional director from U.S. Shoe's retail division in 1995. He then spent much of his time volunteering with the Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity, the North Ridgeville Community Care Food Bank, and St. John Westshore Hospital. To accomodate friends and family who are away for the winter, the memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 24th, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted. Lunch will follow at a yet to be determined location. Hudson, MA John W. Temple Jr.-78, of Hudson, MA, died Wednesday, January 17, 2007, at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Claire (Dumas) Temple of Hudson. Born in Marlborough, MA, he was the son of the late John W. and Olive L. (Drew) Temple. He was born and raised in Marlborough, MA and was a graduate of Marlborough, H.S. class of 1946. He was a veteran of WWII serving in Korea and Fort Churchill, Canada for the U.S. Army after high school. He received the WWII Victory Medal and Occupational Medal of Korea. He received his bachelors degree in 1954 from Alfred University in Alfred, NY where he was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. After college he moved to Hudson, MA in 1955 and resided their till his death. He retired from the former Eastern Drug Co.of Dedham, MA where he was the Executive V.P. of sales for 38 years. He was a member of the Marlborough Country Club for 40 years, a member of the Hudson V.F.W. Post 1027 from 1955 till his death, a member of the Masonic Lodge “United Brethren Lodge A.F. & A.M.” of Marlborough for 40 years and was a life member of the Hudson Lodge of Elks 959 for 50 years. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Marlborough. Besides his wife he is survived by his two daughters, Joanne Temple Fox and her husband Michael of Stow, MA and Jane Carlson and her husband Anthony Danzilio of Worcester, MA. He is also survived by his sister, Phyllis Wilcox of Manchester Center, VT, his four grandchildren, Nathan and Aaron Fox, Kristen and Kellyn Carlson and many nieces and nephews. A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2007 in Forestvale Cemetery, Broad Street, Hudson, MA. There are no calling hours. Kenneth G. Christie, 54, of Manlius, NY, died March 4, suddenly at home. Mr. Christie was a graduate of Jamesville-DeWitt High School and Alfred University. He was owner of Shean Equipment Co. of East Syracuse. He is sur-vived by his wife, Arlene; a daughter, Elisabeth; two sons, Adam (Becky) of Orlando, FL and Daniel of Fredericksburg, VA. His mother Dorothy Christie; and three sisters, Leslie A. Tomeny, Janet R. Christie and Martha C. Stanley and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, March 8 in DeWitt Community Church, 3600 Erie Blvd. E., the family will greet friends following the service in the church parlor. Fidelis Care, the New York State Catholic Health Plan, announced the death of Mark L. Lane, president and CEO, who passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 22, following a brief illness. He was 60.
An experienced and innovative health care executive, Lane oversaw the development of Fidelis Care from its earliest days under the auspices of the Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens in 1993. In 1996, he joined Fidelis Care on a full-time basis to lead the company’s expansion from its initial service area of 14 zip codes in Brooklyn to 59 of New York State’s 62 counties.
Today, Fidelis Care is the largest government-programs based health plan in the state, serving more than 780,000 members through an extensive network of over 51,000 providers. Fidelis Care is also a major employer in the state, with more than 1,600 employees based out of four regional and three satellite offices.
Under Lane’s leadership, Fidelis Care experienced rapid and sustained growth in membership, the addition and expansion of new programs and services, and success in the provision of quality care, which he considered to be a hallmark of Fidelis Care’s mission to serve and care for those most in need, with the highest levels of compassion, dignity, and respect: a tenet of the Catholic health care ministry.
Prior to joining Fidelis Care, Lane served as Chief Operating Officer of the Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens, Inc., which subsequently merged into St. Vincent Catholic Medical Centers. He was also the chief operating officer at St. Peter’s Hospital, Albany, the largest acute care community hospital in northeastern New York.
Lane served as vice president of ambulatory services at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, a leading academic health center in New Brunswick, N.J.
He earned a bachelor of arts degree in economics from Alfred University and masters’ degrees in business administration and public health from Columbia University.
